Due to the high volume of orders Rare Reef receives it may take us up to 7 business days (Mon-Thursday) to ship out your order. We ship all orders in the order they are received.
We can hold orders for up to 7 days for our customers if you need us to . After 7 days the customer is responsible for dead or damaged livestock and no refunds or store credits will be issued.
We try to get things shipped as soon as possible though and we just want you all to be aware we do high volumes and sometimes the number of orders coming in gets us backed up slightly. Thanks For Understanding!

DOA POLICY:
All DOA refunds will be in the form of Store Credit - No Exceptions - No Refunds.
There is no refund/credit for the cost of shipping due to DOA.
This cost is paid to FedEx/UPS and cannot be recovered. NO EXCEPTIONS

ORDER CANCELLATION:
There will be a 20% restocking fee for any orders canceled for any reason

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE:
To guarantee a timely exchange you MUST follow the below guidelines:

All DOA or Damaged Items MUST be reported to Rare Reef within 3 hours of arrival!
IF YOU SEND US PICS AT 8PM AT NIGHT WE CANNOT DO "ANYTHING" FOR YOU
There is NO EXCEPTIONS to this 3 hours from the time it is marked delivered by the shipping company

We want to see a picture of the coral in the bag and may want to see a picture of the item in your tank WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY PICTURES of the coral out of water.

All corals are 100% healthy and happy when they leave our doors and we see very minimal Dead On Arrival Corals.

If you do not follow this policy then all DOA / Damaged claims are null and void and you are agreeing to these terms and policy 100% when you check out through our website.

You May Not Be Covered Under Our Live Arrival Guarantee If:
- Your shipping address is different than your billing address

- If you request special delivery options (Hold at Fedex Location, Shipping with a friend, or any customers personal issues that reflect on the shipments delivery.

- RARE REEF LLC DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR FEDEX/UPS DELAYS DUE TO WEATHER OR MECHANICAL ISSUES AND WE DO NOT HONOR DOA CLAIMS IF FEDEX/UPS DELIVERS LATE PACKAGES, LOSES YOUR PACKAGE, OR DAMAGES YOUR PACKAGE.

- RARE REEF LLC WILL NOT PURSUE FEDEX/UPS CLAIMS AT ALL. The customer is free to make any claims with fedex they wish but we will not check up on them, pursue them, or get involved in them in any way, shape, or form and they may request a screen shot of this statement for full release for them to settle the claim whether the decision outcome, directly with the customer. Fedex and Ups Claims can be made directly through their websites.

- By clicking CHECKOUT, toggling the agree to terms box and paying you are agreeing to all of these terms and conditions and promise not to hold Rare Reef responsible for anything out of our control. All charge backs or payment claims that do not follow these terms and conditions are reported to collections agencies and reported as debt to Rare Reef and will affect the customers personal credit.

RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED OF ANY KIND - DO NOT RETURN PACKAGES TO US UNLESS WE REQUEST IT!
